BF Valuations can assist clients who are looking at buying or selling a business and require an expert opinion on the value of the business. This level of service is a limited scope advice based on the information you are able to provide or have collected on the subject business. BF Valuations will complete an analysis on all the data provided and where required may suggest further documentation or data should be sought. You will be provided with oral advice on what to look for in the business and a potential market worth of the business based on the information provided.
Full Valuation Report
Best For Clients whom have a 3rd Party relying on the Valuation, including but not limited to court cases, compulsory acquisitions and larger businesses.
BF Valuations will follow a formal due process to ensure that the final written opinion satisfies the client’s requirement. A Full Valuation is an un-limited scope (ie Valuer has permission to request and source any information deemed necessary) investigation into the business. To begin BF Valuations will provide a Letter of Engagement which will formally outline what is required from the client/s. This Letter of Engagement is signed off by all parties involved, so all understand and accept the process BF Valuations will undertake and the cost associated. BF Valuations will complete the research and analyses of all the information provided and may request further information if required. Research may include interviewing business owners, accountants key stakeholders, clients. Multiple ‘Valuation’ methods will most likely be utilised and cross referenced. The final report will comprehensively detail all aspects of the investigation and include most, if not all, calculations and assessments conducted.
Summary Report
Best For Clients that require a written opinion of value, including but not limited to Finance purposes, Mediation, partnership Buy-out and Family Law. This service is usually best provided before a Full Valuation Report, as in some cases a Full Valuation Report is not necessarily required.

Depending on the client/s needs this can be a limited scope (ie based on information provided) or un-limited scope (ie valuer has permission to request and source any information deemed necessary). To begin, BF Valuations will provide a Letter of Engagement which will formally outline what is required from the client/s and is signed off by all parties involved, so all understand and accept the process BF Valuations will undertake and the cost associated. BF Valuations will complete the research and analyses of all the information provided and may request further information if required. At the conclusion you will receive a summary letter advising of the market worth of the business. Included in this letter will be a brief explanation as to the key aspects of the investigation and how the final figure was calculated.
This service is usually cheaper than a Full Valuation Report as the final summary letter is limited to only the key aspects of the investigation.
